How we work.

Not too sure how the Interior Design process works? Read on to familiarise yourself with the 5 key stages of your project when working with us

WITHIN 1 WEEK

Our initial consultations are a way for us to find out more about the project and see if we are a good fit for each other. Christie is our founder and Interior Designer. She will send out an online questionnaire to all of our potential clients to be completed before the meeting so that you can sit and discuss your ideas together during your initial consultation. From here, she will put together a proposal with all of the services that she thinks will best suit your needs and those of the brief. Once the proposal has been agreed upon and signed, we ask for the deposit to be made so that design work can commence!

WITHIN 2 WEEKS

Once you have signed up and received your Client Welcome Pack, the project can begin! We will have our design debrief and get to know you and your project more in depth. We want to know exactly where the space- or spaces- which we are working on are, who the space is for, what is needed of the space, why we need to incorporate specific elements and how we can achieve the best possible outcome. We then pull together inspirational imagery to create our mood board based on the 3 words in your questionnaire which describe the way you want the space to look and feel which forms the basis of our final concept and design.

WITHIN 4-6 WEEKS

After establishing a full brief, we begin work on our final concepts. We work on functional spatial planning as well as aesthetics; pulling together textiles, accessories and furniture which suit the scheme. We create shopping lists and specification booklets with all of the suggested pieces and present our schemes. Any necessary tweaks and amendments can be made before finalising and signing off the design.

WITHIN 4+ WEEKS

After the design is signed off and the invoice has been paid, we can begin to order the desired items and coordinate tradespeople, should they be required. For fully project managed services, we will orchestrate site visits and create thorough schedules of works. At this stage, we can send you on your way with everything that you need to bring your new design to life, or fully oversee the fitting and installation should you wish for a more hands on approach!

TIMESCALE DEPENDENT ON PROJECT

It is now time for the best part, whether you have project managed, or we are still fully immersed in the project, we can come out to the space to style and add the perfect touches to the finished scheme!

I got in contact with Christie to help me with decorating my living room and bathroom. Christie was really helpful, approachable, and professional and through a video consultation we were able to discuss my ideas. The virtual design package she pulled together for me was perfect and had captured our discussions really well - she really understood what I was looking for and the itemised shopping list was also really helpful. It's still a work in progress but already looks so much better even with just some small changes following Chrisite's tips and advice. She's got a great eye for design and I will definitely be contacting her again next time I'm decorating!

What a fantastic experience. I was a bit overawed at the thought of decorating an entire house by myself but Christie took a lot of the stress away by helping me visualise what the finished rooms would look like and they turned out incredibly. My expectations have been truly exceeded. I love the little touches she has put into each room giving what used to be a very bland space, character and warmth. Christie was very attentive through the whole process, answering my many queries with care and consideration towards the initial brief and to the final result.

We came to Christie after downsizing and realising that the extension that we had planned for was out of our budget, but still wanting a kitchen that was modern yet timeless. She worked closely with my wife and I to ensure that it was to both of our tastes and project managed efficiently to create a space which we both love. It has completely changed the way that we live and we have enlisted Christie's help for the rest of our bungalow.
